Cub Scout Pack 200 was established and chartered by Yorkminster Presbyterian Church in 1981 and has been going strong ever since!
Pack 200 is proud to be a flagship unit for the Chesapeake Bay District and an award winning Pack of the National Summertime Activity award, Quality Unit awards and GOLD RATED Journey To Excellence Award earner.
Our Pack Meeting Nights are on the 4th Thursday of the month September thru May. We meet at Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, 6218 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Yorktown. Our gathering begins at 5.50pm and our program begins at 6:00pm.
We don't hold regular Pack or Den Meetings in the summer, but we stay active through fun group activities and camps during the summer to keep our Pack busy and HAVING FUN! Our summertime program is packed with great family events for our unit! We go fishing, swimming, visiting lots of area parks/museums, camping, day camp, and resident camp - plus a WHOLE LOT MORE.
We hold annual special events too -- Fishing Derby, Pack Campout, Mini-golfing, Rain Gutter Regatta, Pinewood Derby, Pumpkin Decorating Contest, Cake Bake Competition and we participate in the Yorktown 4th of July celebration.
We are connected to our community through service projects. We hold food drives, coat drives, pet care drives, we take part in Clean the Bay Day, Scouting for Food, and we participate in public flag ceremonies and practice Good Will toward others.
